Environmental management systems

This regulation (acknowledged in Italy as UNI EN ISO 14001:2015) is the international standard for environmental management, aiming to provide Organization with an effective Environmental Management System. Regulation defines guidelines allowing an Organization to establish a correct Environmental Policy and its objectives in compliance with current regulations. Environmental Certification is therefore aimed to ensure the capability for an Organization to manage its processes while ensuring environment protection.

WP Horizons support services starts with a first stage focused on the initial environmental analysis, including a company gap-analysis with certification purpose and relevant environmental impacts and aspects, including but not limited to:

• Preparationof the environmental policy by management;
• Appointment of the environmental responsible manager, who should preferably coincide with the quality manager;
• Context Analysis of the company organization;
• Analysis of the interested parties who interact with the company;
• Analysis and assessment of environmental aspects and impacts, considering the life-cycle circus principles;
• Preparation of the environmental management manual and procedures, or integration into the quality manual (integrated management manual);
• Documents implementation and conducting of environmental audits;
• Management review;
• Third party certification;
• Continuous improvement and surveillance by the third party.
